Caramat wins Masons’ golf tourney

THREE members of the Pangasinan Lodge No. 56 were triumphant in their quest for glory in the First Masons Open Golf Fellowship Tournament, conducted recently, at the Bonuan Beach and Golf Club in Dagupan City.

The three are P/Supt. Romeo M. Caramat, Jr., former Dagupan City PNP chief and now stationed at CAR Regional Police Office, who emerged as champion in the Low Gross Division while businessmen Robert Conrad Matias and Benjamin S. Benin topped Class C as champion and runner-up, respectively.

Other winners in the tournament included: Low Net Division champion, Dr. Rey Perez; and, champions and runners-up, respectively: Class A – Dr. Jong Manangan and Ping Catayong; and Class B – Col Manny Velasco and Vital Zabala. All the champions and runners-up were presented their trophies during the luncheon awards program, at the Lodge’s building, at Tondaligan Park, Bonuan Gueset. Door prizes were also raffled to the delight of all the participants

Some 37 golfers from all over Pangasinan and from Metro Manila, La Union, Tarlac, and Baguio City participated in the tourney dubbed as “Fore: A Cause.”
