Alaminos beauty queen is PH bet
WORLD SUPER MODEL 2014 TILT
LINGAYEN—A 27-year-old model from Alaminos City will represent the Philippines in the search for the prestigious World Super Model 2014.
Lorraine Erum is the country’s bet after winning the Ms. Global Philippines first runner up title.
In an interview with Erum during her visit at the Capitol, she was visibly excited for the chance to represent not only Pangasinan but the Philippines in a global tilt in Fiji.
“This is my dream. After I graduated in high school, I went to Manila just to join beauty pageants. So I will do my best,” vowed the beauty queen.
Erum is a mass communication graduate who worked her way up from being bangus (milkfish) vendor to winning several local and national beauty pageants.
She was crowned Ms. Alaminos City first runner up and Mutya ng Pilipinas 2006 third runner up.
“I’m a little nervous but confident and I always pray,” she said as she looks forward to her search for a world title.
She said she will showcase the country’s culture through her outfits and will promote the tourist spots and festivals of the Philippines, particularly Pangasinan.
