2nd Inter-Masonic Lodges Bowlfest set
THE Masonic District RI-A, Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines, will hold its 2nd Inter-Masonic Lodges Bowling Fellowship, on Saturday, November 29 at the Fun World Bowling Lanes inside the CSI City Mall, with 9 Lodges in Pangasinan participating.
District Deputy Grand Master Michael Camilo G. Datario said the number of teams in this year’s tourney will be divided into two categories: Class A and Class B that had Alfonso Lee Sin Memorial Lodge No. 158 (Dagupan City) and Mangaldan Lodge No. 354 (Mangaldan) as last year’s champions, respectively.
Also participating in this year’s bowlfest are Pangasinan Lodge No. 56 (Dagupan City), Agno Lodge No. 75 (Tayug), Moises J. de Guzman Memorial Lodge No. 161 (Lingayen), Hundred Islands Lodge No. 201 (Alaminos City), Edilberto A. Tamondong Memorial Lodge No. 217 (San Nicolas), Urdaneta Lodge No. 302 (Urdaneta City) and Pozorrubio Lodge Under Dispensation (Pozorrubio).
According to tournament director Johnson L. Fernandez, Masonic District Grand Lecturer, at stake in the one-day tourney are trophies, souvenirs and tokens for emerging team and individual champions and runners-up.
Meanwhile, Datario said that the championship crown in the ultimate stage of the 2nd Inter-Masonic Lodges Basketball DDGM Cup will be disputed by defending champion Lodge No. 354 and Lodge 161. The one-game title tussle is set on Friday, November 21 after the battle for third place between Lodge No. 56 and Lodge No. 158, at 6 p.m., at the CdD Fidel S. Arzadon Gym, Leisure Coast Resort.- (PCC)
