KBP members, dependents avail of TESDA scholarships

THE Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) provincial office has launched a scholarship program for members of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas (KBP) Pangasinan Chapter and their dependents.

TESDA provincial director Engr. Manuel Wong said 18 have already qualified for the scholarship program.
” Their scholarship vouchers have already arrived so they can start their training on their chosen training programs,” he announced during the KBP Forum last week. The initial 18 have chosen a training course on cookery at TESDA-accredited Manila Montessori College and automotive servicing at Lyceum Northwestern University.

Both schools are located in Dagupan City and offer these courses either during weekends or on night shift in accordance with the schedule of the scholars. The scholarship program a joint effort between KBP and TESDA. (Johanne R. Macob/PNA)
