Espino rallies Team Pangasinan: “Aim High”

Lingayen – The 294 athletes who have been selected to wear the colors of Team Pangasinan to compete in the forthcoming Batang Pinoy Luzon Leg which be held in Naga City were rallied by Gov. Amado T. Espino to “Aim high” in their next competition.

The provincial government is fully supporting their ongoing two-week intensive training before they proceed to the regional games by accommodating the players at the NRSCC dormitories to enable them to have easy access to the sports facilities for their training and providing more coaches to better prepare the team.. He directed the delegation to learn and sing the Pangasinan hymn by heart as a gesture of their love and respect for the province.

Meanwhile, Executive Assistant III Modesto Operania who serves as Provincial Sports Director said the BP elimination games also served as “training opportunity” for the athletes who will compete in the forth-coming Region 1 Athletic Association (R1AA) Meet.

Meanwhile, the winners in the Batang Pinoy-Pangasinan chess eliminations are Jerome Junio, John Rhuiz Bravo, John Marx Anastacio, Juan Miguel del Prado, Charles Darwin Ablang, and Aerobin Prado (boys); and FIDE Master Samantha Glo Revita, Regyne Palaming, Maycydel Fajardo, Danica Alexis Ablang, Daniella Alcantara, and Roselle Atiwen Zamora (girls).
