Dagupan to host PCCL North-Central PCCL tilt

DAGUPAN City will host the Philippine Collegiate Champions’ League’s (PCCL) North-Central Luzon basketball tournament for the first time with teams from Pangasinan neighboring provinces Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pampanga, Benguet and Zambales set to tangle with UCAAP champions Lyceum Northwestern University Dukes on November 2-5 at Dagupan City People’s Astrodome.

According to PCCL’s top honcho Joe Lipa, the winner of the Dagupan tilt will advance to the Southern Luzon-Bicol scrimmages to be held in Naga City this month before entering the Manila tiff and eventually enter the round-of-16, which is composed of elite college basketball teams of Luzon that also includes the best from Visayas and Mindanao.

The winner of the PCCL will be adjudged as the national amateur champions in the country this year.(JAG, Jr).
