Shabu, guns seized in Malasiqiui
MALASIQUI—The town’s police station had a good day last Wednesday.
Armed with search warrants against a suspected gun runner and drug pusher, they seized guns, ammunition, P68, 340 cash, several plastic sachets of shabu with drug paraphernalia, among others in a raid in Barangay Palong and Barang here on September 3.
Seized from Rogelio de Luna alias Odet, 51, married and resident of Palong by virtue of search warrants 024-014 and 025-014 both issued by Hon. Ma. Ellen M Aguilar, presiding judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 70, Burgos town were one pocket gun caliber 22 revolver, one caliber 380 pistol with inserted magazine containing six live ammunition with chamber load; one homemade air rifle; one caliber 9MM pistol and magazine; 25 live ammunition for caliber 380; 30 live ammunition for caliber 22; 13 live ammunition for caliber 9mm; six live ammunition for caliber 45; one transparent heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules suspected to be shabu; four big pieces of transparent heat sealed plastic sachets containing shabu; seven pieces of small transparent heat sealed plastics sachet containing shabu, five cellular phones, three wristwatches and cash.
Confiscated from the suspect’s rented house located in Barangay Barang of said town were illegal drugs paraphernalia.
Also arrested was Raffy De Vera, 41, resident of Barangay Bonuan, Binloc, Dagupan City who was in the house of Luna, who was caught in possession of one small transparent heat sealed plastic sachet containing shabu.
The arrested suspects and the seized items were brought to Malasiqui Police Station for documentation and investigation. (Tita Roces)
