The suspect, Alvin Castro and his wife Cornelia Catalino Castro, both residents of barangay Bonuan Binloc in Dagupan were arrested by police operatives that were conducting Oplan Sita on Arellano Street.

The two were intercepted on board a motorcycle after receiving an information that the duo was carrying illegal drugs they picked up from Sitio Aling on Arellano St.

Castro had a .38 caliber gun tucked on his waist prompting the policemen to subject them to a thorough search.

Supt. Christopher Abrahano, Dagupan police chief, said Castro is on top of the station’s target list since his operations already reportedly extend beyond the city.

Castro reportedly deals directly with suppliers of illegal drugs in large volumes.

Castro has a pending trial for murder and robbery cases but is out on bail.

Castro’s wife, Cornelia is also listed in the target list on illegal drugs of the DCPS.
