Classes resume at PNHS

LINGAYEN– A week after the tragedy that shocked the country, classes have finally resumed at the Pangasinan National High School (PNHS) in Lingayen on Monday, September 8.

At the same time, stress debriefing and counseling for the PNHS students have also started, said Department of Education (DepEd) Pangasinan 1 schools division superintendent, Dr. Alma Ruby Torio.

According to Torio, the stress debriefing and counseling by school health personnel, nurses, and guidance counselors from DepEd-Pangasinan 1 and other divisions will continue for as long as necessary.

A separate debriefing for PNHS students is being conducted by the Philippine National Police (PNP).

In addition to the hired security personnel by the school, the Pangasinan Provincial Police Office (PPPO) has deployed police officers to secure the school.
