DAGUPAN CITY—The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) warden here said there will be no special treatment for the policeman who shot three teachers and a loan collector and wounding three other teachers inside the Pangasinan National High School (PNHS) last Sept. 1.

Lawyer Kenneth Bid-ing said Police Officer 3 Domino Alipio, who was transferred to the BJMP here from his cell in the Lingayen Police Station following a commitment order from the court, will be accorded the same treatment like all other detainees.

He said all the detainees at the BJMP are given equal treatment, “whether rich or poor, policeman or not, man or woman, we don’t give any special treatment to anybody”.

He said this applies to food, visitations and activities inside the BJMP compound.

Alipio shares a detention cell with other ordinary detainees.

Alipio was transferred to the BJMP on Sept. 4 yet after he was charged with four counts of murder for killing three teachers, Acidello Sison and Linda Sison, both from the PNHS and Florenda Flores, a teacher form the Labrador National High School in Labrador town, and Jonalito Urayan.

Flores and Urayan were Alipio’s alleged agents for his money-lending business. The teachers wounded in the carnage were Ferdinand Entimano, Jovito Jimenez and Juliet Molano, also from the PNHS, were wounded in the incident.

Bid-ing said when Alipio arrived at the BJMP, he was briefed about their policies and had been warned not to do his money lending business inside the facility.

It was Alipio’s moneylending business that allegedly caused him to shoot the victims. (Tita Roces)
