BARANGAY officials in Dagupan City will be hosted by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) – Pangasinan Chapter headed by Lawyer Trinidad T. Abad-Ferrer in a basic accounting seminar, particularly bookkeeping and preparation of reports to comply with Commission on Audit’s standards.

Abad-Ferrer presented the seminar module to Mayor Belen T. Fernandez when she and other PICPA officers paid a courtesy call on her last week.

The seminar for barangay officials is a reach-out program of the chapter aimed at training them how to prepare accounting books and disbursement reports.

Fernandez welcomed the project and thanked the PICPA officers for their services to the city.

Among the lecturers will be Dean Reynante D. Balocating of the University of Luzon, lawyer Yolanda C. Zafra, and Deborah B. Castillo. (CIO-Joseph C. Bacani)
