TESDA scholarship program still open

LINGAYEN– The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) provincial office here is still accepting applicants for its scholarship program.

TESDA provincial director Engr. Manuel Wong urged students who are unable to continue their education due to poverty to take advantage of the scholarship program being offered by TESDA.  Applicants for the scholarship should be indigent, at least high school graduate, and a legitimate resident of the province.

He noted that technical vocational courses that are in-demand are industrial courses as welding, automotive, and heavy equipment operations; and those related to tourism sector as housekeeping, food and beverage, and bread and pastry. (Johanne R. Macob)
