Wanted criminal nabbed
LINGAYEN — Combined police elements captured one of the most wanted persons in the country in Barangay Pias, Mapandan town Thursday.
Jose Tamayo Velasco, who has a P140,000 reward for his capture, was nabbed, based on a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Luis Fontanilla of the Regional Trial Court Branch 42 in Dagupan City.
The reward was approved by the Department of Interior and Local Government in Oct. 26, 2006.
Velasco who was wanted for the crime of murder, is now detained at the Pangasinan Provincial Police Office. (Tita Roces)
