MALUNGGAY PLANTING

MALUNGGAY AND BAEG PLANTING IN TEBENG —-City Agriculture Officer Emma J. Molina and Barangay Tebeng Punong Barangay Helen F. Fermill together with the barangay council and staff of the City Agriculture Office and City Nutrition Office plant 70 cuttings of malunggay and alucon (baeg) along the barangay road in a bid to propagate the production of malunggay and “baeg” as an alternative source of food during calamities and disasters because of their nutritional values. The tree planting was held as part of the celebration of the Nutrition Month. Not in photo is City Nutrition Officer Leah L. Aquino.
