LINGAYEN– The Land Transportation Office (LTO) district offices in Lingayen and Urdaneta were among those rated as excellent by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) under the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) program.

LTO-Lingayen district chief Eric Suriben said the rating was the result of the Report Card Survey (RCS) done by the CSC on the LTO district offices covered by the ARTA program.
“We got an excellent rating  (92.06%), along with LTO-Urdaneta and Batac in the region,” Suriben said.

The RCS is used by CSC to obtain feedback on how an office implements its Citizen’s Charter to fulfill customer satisfaction.

The ARTA Watch looks into the compliance of agencies with the ARTA provisions such as the no-noon break policy; transparent workflow; a special lane and chairs for senior citizens, pregnant women, and persons with disabilities; no fixing activities; easy-to-read IDs or nameplates; presence of public assistance and complaints desk; and cleanliness and orderliness of surroundings.

It was the first time for the LTO-Lingayen to be rated since the program was launched three years ago. (Johanne R. Macob)
