HOLY WEEK RETREAT—Lying at the foot of the Caraballo mountains, this 40-foot statue of Christ the Redeemer called “Ayat ni Apo Jesus” (God’s Love), which was erected in June last year at a site 1,108 meters above sea level and overlooking the town of Natividad, has become one of Pangasinan’s fast-emerging popular pilgrimage sites and ecotourism destinations.
