DTI’s Diskwento Caravan in malls

ROVING discount fairs called “Diskwento Caravans”, an initiative of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), will be held in various malls around Pangasinan from May 15 to 31.
Meanwhile, the first Diskwento Caravan in the province will be held on May 12, in partnership with the local government of Balungao, at the town’s gymnasium.
The May 15-31 caravan, a Balik-Eskwela Diskwento, will have on sale school supplies in SM Hypermarket-Rosales, Nepo Mall-Dagupan, Robinsons Supermarket- Dagupan, Nepo Mart-Alaminos City, CB Mall-Urdaneta, Magic Mall-Urdaneta, Robinsons Place-Calasiao, Unitop-San Carlos City shops of the CSI Group of Companies, Magic Group of Companies, Puregold Group of Companies, Home Ideas Group of Companies, Addessa Corporation, MJ Gas Corporation, and St. Joseph Drugstores.
The Diskwento Caravans will sell basic and prime commodities at discounted prices, said DTI Provincial Director Peter Mangabat.
“Consumers will benefit from this public service program of DTI because they can avail of discounts to be provided by manufacturers and local distributors,” Mangabat said.
