A TOTAL of 3,283 dogs from 25 barangays in the city were given free anti-rabies vaccination by the City Veterinary Office in line with the city’s continuing drive for safe pet ownership.

The free anti-rabies vaccination campaign dubbed as ‘Pet Ko, Date Ko’ started on February 14 in line with the advocacy of Mayor Belen T. Fernandez to develop awareness among pet owners to be responsible pet lovers.

City Veterinary Officer Dr. Michael P. Maramba disclosed that since they started the campaign, people became more aware on the health and wellness of their pets. (CIO)
