Balikbayan couple gives back to public schools
THEY are both product of public schools, and both attended a local college where they met and became a couple. They consider themselves blessed and their success in their profession as accountants, and they have decided to go to back to the place closest to their hearts–the public school and share their material rewards with the public school children.
King and Prima Disimulacion grew up in Dagupan City and Lingayen respectively and are now residents of Los Angeles, California, USA. They are former officers of the Dagupan City Association of Southern California and remain active members. They have two children: Lyka, the elder, is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University while Michael recently graduated from the University of California in Irvine.
Currently in town for holiday vacation, they set aside Thursday, December 5 for gift-giving at the Pogo Grande Elementary School where King’s sister, Priscilla, is a retired Principal. Marilou Llamas, the present Principal and her teaching staff organized and coordinated the event.
