Raid yields ammunition, drug paraphernalia

MAPANDAN–Police seized ammunition for different types of firearms and drug paraphernalia when they raided a house in Barangay Pias here in the morning of August 14.

However, the owner of the house and seized items, identified as Jose Sison, was able to elude arrest and is now the object of police manhunt.

The search warrant on Sison’s house, served by a team led by Senior Inspector Fernando Lopez, was issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Renato Pinlac of Branch 57 in San Carlos City.

Seized from the house of the suspects were one live ammunition for Cal. 22, four live ammunitions for Cal. 38, 31 empty shells of Cal. 22, and three) deformed empty shells for Cal. 22.

Also seized in plain view were three disposable lighters, (35 small transparent empty plastic sachets, three aluminum foils, four small transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, two scissors and one knife.
