PCL chapter elects new officers

LINGAYEN—San Manuel town’s Sheila Perez has been elected president of the Philippine Councilors League-Pangasinan Chapter for 2013-2016, giving her the privilege and responsibility as a representative at the provincial board.

Perez, who led the group Team Unity won over Lingayen Councilor Ramon Bataoil and San Jacinto Councilor Rosalie Ellasus.

Team Victory’s Lingayen Councilor Judy Vargas was elected vice president.

The other newly-elected officers are: Orange Humilde (Alaminos City), secretary general; Blesildo Sumera (Urdaneta City), treasurer; Evageline Durao (Asingan), public relations officer; Jonjon Reformado (Mangatarem), auditor; and Godfrey Taboy (Sual), business manager.

The eight members of the Board of Directors are: Jan Louie Sison (Villasis), Maan Meneses (Lingayen), Alvin Bravo (San Nicolas), Zaldy Canullas (Bugallon), Efren Joe Millora (Infanta), Virginia Zarate (San Jacinto), Jenny Aguilar (Calasiao), and Edgardo Tagum (Basista) will soon take oath before Governor Amado Espino Jr.- Johanne Margarette R. Macob
