2 brothers in hot water for ammo possession
BALUNGAO—The houses of two brothers in Barangay San Aurelio 3rdin this town were raided by the police on February 26 and authorities found some ammunition and spent shells.
The suspects, Orland Pine, alias Rolando, and Paquito Pine, alias Ronie, evaded arrest as they were not home during the raids, which were covered by search warrants issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Teodorico Bauzon.
Their brother Romeo, a barangay councilman, witnessed the implementation of the search warrants.
Seized from the house of Rolando were five live ammunition for Cal. 5.56, two live ammunition for Cal. 45 and three spent shells for Cal. 45.
The raids were conducted by joint elements led by P/Supt. Rhode Espero.
