URDANETA—A tricycle driver who was included in the drug watch list of the police identified as Malik Mamayandog, 41, and a resident of Dona Trining Village in Barangay Camantiles here was shot dead along the provincial road in Barangay San Vicente West in the afternoon of January 22.

The shooting, perpetrated by armed men riding-in-tandem on a motorcycle, took place while the victim was on his way home on board his motorized tricycle.

Mamayandog, who died on the spot, was shot several times by the still unidentified suspects on his neck, back and lower arm.

The suspects fled to an unknown direction and are now the object of police manhunt.

The police retrieved the victim’s cellphone from the crime scene and text messages contained in the unit indicate he was engaged in drug trading.
