PANGASINAN CULTURE SHINES AT FAMAS AWARDS
PANGASINAN CULTURE SHINES AT FAMAS AWARDS—The Dangoan Pangasinan Dance Troupe opens the 60th Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards with an exciting performance of Pangasinan’s native dance “Sayaw ed Tapew na Bangko”, highlighted by tricky steps of inching and hopping around a three-layered narrow bench. The executive producer of FAMAS awards, Angel R. Calso, requested Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr. to send in Dangoan group composed of provincial employees to perform before the prestigious and star-studded affair at the Manila Hotel last September 25. (PIO Photo by Meinard Sadim)
