Flood victims can avail of calamity loan — Pag-Ibig
THE Home Development Mutual Fund –Dagupan branch started accepting calamity loan applications last Friday for members who have been affected by last week’s flooding due to monsoon rains.
Pag-Ibig Fund Information Officer Huge Olarte said the agency wants to help members in Pangasinan, particularly those who lost their livelihood and residences.
An active member can loan as much as 80 percent of his total savings.
Pangasinan has been declared under state of calamity through Resolution no 349-2012 due to massive flooding in the central, eastern and even western towns.
