BCC celebrates founder’s day

SAN CARLOS CITY–The Binalatongan Community College (BCC), founded by the late Mayor Julian Resuello with the help of Engr. Marcelo Casillan, will celebrate its Founder’s Day on July 23 in lieu of the usual July 22, the birth date of the slain mayor who would have turned 60.

The celebration starts with a Mass at the St. Dominic Church, after which there will be a floral offering at the JVR monument inside the Arenas-Resuello Sports complex.

The floral offering by the city officials will be led by the late mayor’s sons, incumbent Mayor Julier Resuello and Vice Mayor Joseres.

A day-long program will follow which will include the participation of the BCC Chorale Group and other student performers, the mayor’s wife, Mrs. Suzanne de Dios Resuello, Engr. Marcelo Casillan, the vice mayor, former councilor Elpidio Fermin, and Dr. Arsenio Bulatao.

The Supreme Student Council officers will also be inducted into office by Mayor Resuello.

On July 24, BCC officials, faculty and students will join the mayor and the vice mayor in tree planting at the Barangay Cobol Elementary School. (CIO)
