Criminal riding in tandem claim another victim
VILLASIS—Hitmen riding in tandem on a motorcycle claimed another victim when they shot to death a mango sprayer in Barangay Unzad here at about 1:00 a.m. of May 30.
The fatality was identified as Igmedio Esteva Jr., 57, a resident of Barangay Tomling, Malasiqui who suffered a gunshot wound in his back and head and died on the spot.
The victim was shot at close range while the latter was on board his motorcycle that was cruising along the Villasis-Malasiqui road.
The gunmen used a Cal. 45 pistol as evidenced by three spent shells found by the police at the crime scene.
