Chief Justice inducts IBP-Pangasinan officers

CHIEF Justice Renato Corona will be the guest of honor and Speaker during the oath-taking ceremony of the new officers of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines chapter in Pangasinan today, March. 27.

Corona, who is also the chairman of both the Judicial and Bar Council and the Philippine Judiciary Academy, will also officiate the oath-taking of the new officers of the IBP led by Atty. Farah Marie Decano as president.

DECANO

Decano, former councilor of Dagupan, is the 20th president of the IBP Pangasinan chapter since its inception in 1973. She is only the second woman president of the IBP chapter after former Pangasinan Governor Nancy Q. Sison.

The other officers are Atty. January E. Ragudo, vice president; Atty. Edward Chua Cham, secretary; Atty. Teodora Cerdan, treasurer; Atty. Elvira De Vera-Guno, auditor; Atty. Joseph Amadito Samson, press relations officer; and Attys. Mamilo J. Royulada, Atty. Baby Ruth Torre, Atty. Christopher C. Castro, Atty. Magdalena Erfe and Atty. Rowena de Vera, directors.

Atty. Rafael Martinez, immediate past president, will serve as ex-officio member of the board.
