PMC to put up nursing stations at CSI malls

THE Pangasinan Medical Center (PMC) and the CSI Group of Companies are joining hands to increase awareness among local residents about proper health care.

Dr. Chito Salazar, president of PHINMA, which owns PMC, said the hospital wants to help educate the people about health and wellness, and change the perception that health maintenance as expensive and unnecessary.

For her part, Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez, president of the CSI Group of Companies, gave the nod for the setting up of PMC nursing stations at the CSI the City Mall and the CSI Market Square next month and in January and February.

The PMC nursing stations will offer general consultation and take vital signs like body temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiratory rate to the public.

PMC is a 75-bed capacity tertiary hospital in Dagupan and it is set to inaugurate its new facilities on November 29.
