Nat’l Jr. cagefest on Nov. 25-26
DAGUPAN City plays host in the two-day basketball games exclusively for 19 year olds and below on November 25 and 26, dubbed “SBP National Junior Championship Area 2 Regional Elimination”.
Renato “Jack” Vidal, one of the organizers of the tournament, said four teams from four regions in Luzon will participate, namely: the University of Cordillera representing Cordillera Region, Saint Louis University Tuguegarao representing Region 2, Holy Angel University or Angeles University Foundation for Region 3, and University of Luzon for Region 1.
The games will be held at the Dagupan People’s Astrodome and DWAD gym.
Vidal said that in case of a double tie, the win-over-the-other method will be implemented or in case of a triple tie, the international rule or FIBA quotient system will be adopted.
The winner of the tournament will represent the area in the national championship to be held December 5-11 in Iloilo City.–JAGJr.
