THE Family Week in Dagupan City kicked off last Wednesday with the Lucky Me On-the-Spot Essay Writing Contest on the theme “Kainang Pamilya: Mahalaga”, stressing the value of families having meals together.

Held at CSI Stadia, the competition was participated in by Grade 5 students from the Pantal Elementary School, Bolonsan Elementary School, North Central Elementary School, West Central Elementary School and Divine Word Academy of Dagupan.

The contest was held in cooperation with Department of Education, CSI Group of Companies, Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez and Councilor Librada Reyna, chair of the committee on women and child welfare in the Dagupan City Council.

This week, the International Children’s Day celebration will also be held at CSI The City Mall.–LM
