LINGAYEN–A policeman from the Police Provincial Office (PPO) has been selected as one the Country’s Outstanding Policemen in Service (COPS).

Senior Police Officer 2 Hermie Soriano Raymundo was chosen one of the best in the Police Non-Commissioned Officers Category in the 2010 Metrobank Foundation’s COPS search program.

A native and resident of Binmaley, Raymundo is currently assigned at the Provincial Investigation and Detective Management Branch of the PPO here.

Raymundo’s COPS award is attributed to his dedication to service and exemplary performance in crime prevention and crime solution.

The award, which pays tribute to outstanding men and women of the Philippine National Police (PNP) who exemplified excellence in solving and preventing crimes, is given annually by the Metrobank Foundation, Incorporated, the Rotary Club of New Manila East and PSBank.

Raymundo and the other COPS awardees will each receive a trophy and cash prize of P250,000 to be conferred in Malacanang by President Benigno Aquino III.
