THE new municipal hall of Calasiao, replacing the old building that was razed to the ground in September 2008, was inaugurated last week.

Mayor Roy Macanlalay thanked the people of the town and the municipal council for helping and working together in putting up the P60 million building.

“We can now be proud of our new town hall, we have proven our critics wrong,” Macanlalay said.

Third District Rep. Ma. Rachel Arenas, who attended the inauguration, dubbed the three-storey building as the “people’s home”.

“I was so impressed when I entered it,” Arenas said.

Macanlalay also thanked Dangerous Drugs Board chairman Antonio Villar Jr. for the three computer sets he donated for their library.#
