MANAOAG–A new fountain named after the late KC de Venecia, daughter of Rep. and Mrs. Jose de Venecia Jr., was inaugurated on Tuesday in front of the municipal hall here.

The De Venecia couple and Manaoag Mayor Napoleon Sales led the inauguration of the fountain which complements a newly-built municipal park for the public.

KC died in a fire that gutted the De Venecia home on Magnolia Street in Dasmarinas Village, Makati City.

Mrs. de Venecia, speaking in behalf of her family, thanked the municipal government of Manaoag for honoring the memory of her daughter by naming the fountain after her, which is just a few steps away from the Miraculous Lady of Manaoag.

For his part, the mayor thanked Rep. De Venecia for funding the construction of the municipal hall park.–LM
