‘Kapuso’ stars join Bangus Festival
BROADCASTING network GMA-7 will bring its ‘Kapuso’ stars in full force for the 2009 Dagupan Bangus Festival, according to Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez, chair of the 16-day fest slated April 15 to May 1.
The first ‘Kapuso’ star to appear on April 24 at 2 p.m. will be Janice de Belen who will preside over the Kapuso ‘Bangus Festival’ Cookfest at the Dagupan City Plaza stage.
‘Kapuso’ will field its own float bearing the lead stars of popular sitcom “Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang” starring Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes in the Festivals of the North Street Dancing Parade on April 27 at 2 p.m.
The ‘Kapuso’ Fiesta is set on April 18 at The Atrium of CSI the City Mall. The event will be topped by a Kapuso concert called “Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman”, hosted by German Moreno.
Moreno will be joined by Pilita Corales, John Nite, Hero Angeles, Mico Aytona, Martha, Mark Herras, Jenica Garcia, Jessica Tiuseco, among others.
On April 29, GMA7 will hold a ‘Kapuso’ Outreach Program at 2 p.m. to be joined by the Balitang Amianan and Primera Balita’s anchors and reporters.
At the Bangusan Street Party at Jose R. de Venecia Expressway Extension, GMA7 will field Bubble Gang’s Moymoy Palaboy and Maureen Lazarabal, as well as Cookie and Bellie with Bamboo.—LM
