VMUF honors own board topnotchers

SAN CARLOS CITY–The Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation (VMUF) will honor three of its students who are among the top board placers in the recent Physical Therapy (PT) Licensure Examination and X-Ray technologist licensure exams.

Olivia De Guzman was 6th Placer in the February 2009 PT exam while Belinda Shahani Puquiz and Corazon Agustin ranked 6th and 8th respectively, in the December 2008 X-ray technologist exam.

The three will get their special recognition during the school’s Commencement Exercises on April 7.

The Colleges of Physical Therapy and Radiologic Technology of the VMUF is the only school in Northern Luzon that placed among the top 10 Placers in the two board exams.

Dean Shiela P. De Vera of the college of pharmacy was also commended for having achieved having a 75-percent passing mark for the batch 2008 in the recent pharmacist licensure examinations.

The VMUF College of Pharmacy is the first Pangasinan university represented in the Philippine Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (PACOP) and affiliated with the U.P. Philippine General Hospital in Manila.
