MALASIQUI–A group of Japanese businessmen are coming to the third district this week to recruit 1,000 nurses for employment in Japan.

Rep. Ma. Rachel Arenas, who is brokering the recruitment, said the group also plans to open a Japanese language school in the area to train the qualified applicants before they are sent out to Japan.

Representatives from the Philippine Overseas Employment Agency will also be around to check on the recruitment proceedings.

Arenas said this will be a good opportunity for nurses in her district with at least three years experience and working in hospitals without due remuneration.

Arenas also said while priority will be given to those from the third district, applicants from neighboring areas will also be accommodated.#
