USA MANGAGAMOT AWARDEES— Philippine Ambassador to Washington Willy C. Gaa (4th from left) and Dr. Alvin Madarang (extreme right), president of the Medical Association of Metropolitan Washington D.C., Inc., pays tribute to the five awardees of the “2008 First Annual Manggagamot Awards”, (from left) Dr. Reynaldo L. Llacer, Dr. Arturo M. Monteiro, Dr. Arnulfo S. Rosario, Dr. Alexander S. Fangonil, Dr. Hector P. Asuncion. Rosario, a radiologist from Manaoag, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and was in private practice for more than 3 decades in Maryland. A past president of the Philippine Medical Association of Metropolitan D.C. In 2007, he was cited Physician of the Year by the Association of the Philippine Physicians in America. Monteiro and Llacer are both general surgeons, while Fangonil is a urologist and Asuncion a family physician.
