PRC cites UL’s dean

Dr. Esther Vedaña, dean of the College of Criminology of the University of Luzon, was honored together with l5 other outstanding  professionals in their respective fields in awarding rites by the Professional Regulation Commission held at the Manila Hotel last Friday, June 20.

The prestigious award was in recognition of the efforts of Dr. Vedaña, wife of Judge Salvador Vedaña, to steer the college of criminology at the university with such dedication that helped elevate the profession to an even higher level degree of respectability among professionals.

The graduates of the college have notably been shown impeccable preparedness which reflected her leadership as a professional and dedicated educator in these parts.

Dr. MacArthur Samson, UL president, extended the university’s warmest felicitations and pride for having Dr. Vedaña in the university’s official family.

Dr. Aurora Samson Reyna, UL executive vice president, commended Dr. Vedaña’s newly earned distinction as another proof of women empowerment in Pangasinan, which, she said, can  match if not excel the best professionals in her field nationwide.
