SUAL–Now there’s a new way to explore the Lingayen Gulf.

The “Angel of the Gulf”, a twin hull or Catamaran type of boat that can accommodate up to 30 people, has been launched by a private operator for foreign and domestic tourists.

It is programmed to sail from the Sual Port then around the Lingayen Gulf passing through Cabalitian Island here and to the famous Hundred Islands in Alaminos City.

Howie Chua Cham, promoter of the Angel of the Gulf, said this is the first such offering for such a service and is optimistic about business prospects.

“Since this is a new project, ‘yung demand wala pa, kumbaga we are here to create that demand na parang dati, kasi ang tao kung wala silang nakikita, they don’t ask,” Chua Cham said.

He added that while his group is starting off with just one vessel, they are ready to add more once “the service becomes viable”.

Chua Cham also said they intend to forge partnerships with resorts and tour operators to expand their market.

Tour options are from the Sual port to the Quezonisland of the Hundred Islands where tourists can swim then have lunch at the Lucap Wharf, then cruise to Cabalitian Island in Sual for hiking, spelunking and more swimming.

Chuam Cham said they can also build boats for resorts with consideration for specific requirements. #
