SJCS volleybelles top in PRISAA meet

ZONE 1 defeated Zone 2 in volleyball for girls to bag the championship in the Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) in Pangasinan held December 4-5 in Umingan.

Zone 1 was represented by the San Jacinto Catholic School with Ms. Demy Hasa as principal and Rufino Uligan as coach.

The SJCS players defeated Zone 2 champion Saint Anthony Abbot Academy of Villasis in three sets, yielding only to its rival in one set.

The players of SJCS are Honorata de Leon, Roxanne Aquino, Clarissa de Guzman, Geraldine Barredo, Camille Langit, Mary Joy Sta. Cruz, Camille Returban, Cherie Anne Bracia, Melissa Duque, Ma. Rizza Aquino, Joyce Hazzel Llena and Roma Salinas.

They were beefed up by Geraldine de Leon and Kristine Banderlipe, both of the Archdiocesan School of San Fabian. 

For the victory, SJCS will represent PRISAA Pangasinan in the Provincial Meet slated by the last week of January next year in Pozorrubio town.
