Aro Garden winners awarded
WINNERS for the annual Aro Garden Program (AGP) in Calasiao, a project promoting backyard vegetable farming, were awarded their prizes on March 7.
          AGP is an initiative of Aro Ministries, a nonprofit organization based in San Francisco in partnership with the Calasiao Church of Christ.


Alaminos student wins SEA award
ALAMINOS CITY--A senior student at the Alaminos City National High School bagged the “Outstanding Award for Presentation of Exhibit” in a recent science research project competition among students in Southeast Asia.
        Shairaine Nieves Catabay, with coach Adolfo Medrano, bested 36 other entries that were part of the Search for SEAMEO Young Scientists organized by the Southeast Asian Ministries of Education Organization Regional Center for Education in Science and Mathematics (SEAMEO RECSAM).
