Editorial

 Working for the best in 2010

THE last quarter of 2009 was particularly trying for us with typhoons “Ondoy” and “Pepeng” wreaking unprecedented destruction in many parts of the country, including the capital Metro Manila and right here in Pangasinan. And so we bid goodbye to this year with both a sigh of relief and a sense of accomplishment because once again our resilience has been tested and we have lived up to the challenge.
        At the same time, we recognize that there is still a lot of work needed for reconstruction of infrastructure and the rebuilding of lives. As the private and public sectors jointly undertake this gargantuan task, we also turn our attention to the major national event for 2010 – the elections.
