JdV, wife Gina distribute relief goods
in 4th District
FOURTH District Rep. Jose de Venecia Jr.
and his staff distributed today (Sunday)
10,000 relief packages to his
constituents in Dagupan, Mangaldan, San
Fabian, San Jacinto and Manaoag who have
been affected by the flood spawned by
Typhoon "Pepeng".
Rep. De Venecia said another set of
10,000 relief packages donated by many
civil society donors in Metro Manila
will be brought in by his wife Gina.
Marine Museum in Alaminos restored
ALAMINOS CITY --A marine museum
showcasing the underwater biodiversity
in Hundred Islands has been restored and
is now open to the public.
Located at the Lucap Wharf, the jump
off point to the world famous Hundred
Islands, the museum features different
species of corrals and preserved fish
that thriving and continue to multiply
in this city's territorial waters.
Villasis joins "Text2Teach" for improved
education
VILLASIS--The quality of education of
elementary students in ten public
schools this town is expected to improve
further after they became recipients of
the "Text2Teach" program using highly
interactive, easy-to-use multi-media
packages.
Mayor Nonato Abrenica presented a
check amounting to P100,000 to the
Text2Teach alliance, represented by
Mario Deriquito of Ayala Foundation, as
the town's counterpart for the program.
