A PRELUDE TO 2010
Espino to Agbayani: Let’s debate
The 2010 campaign period is still 5 months away but the first political salvo has already been fired between the expected contenders.
Gov. Amado Espino Jr., taking center stage Tuesday in the newly-launched Lingguhang Talakayan sa Kapitolyo, countered point-by-point the four issues raised against him by his predecessor and expected opponent in next year's gubernatorial race.
Overseas Dagupeños vow to join "Pawil Dagupan"
IT will be Pawil Dagupan for thousands of overseas Dagupenos this Christmas and during the Bangus Festival in April next year.
This was disclosed by Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez who led a delegation of Dagupan officials to the United States for the signing of a city-sisterhood agreement with Milpitas and to encourage Dagupenos in the US to come home to join the two celebrations.

ORATIO IMPERATA (Mandated Prayer)
By +Oscar V. Cruz D. D.

OH, GOD OUR FATHER:

IN FAITH WE ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR PATERNAL CARE OVER US, YOUR SONS, DAUGHTERS AND CHILDREN. IN HOPE WE TRUST IN YOUR DIVINE PROVIDENCE OF GIVING US WISDOM AND COURAGE AS WE FACE THE CHALLENGES OF LIFE. IN LOVE WE INVOKE YOUR HELP AND GUIDANCE DURING THESE DIFFICULT DAYS OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION IN OUR DEAR COUNTRY.

LNU Dukes, champions at last
THERE'S always a first time.
The Lyceum Northwestern University (LNU) Dukes, whose best finish ever was runner-up, finally realized their dream of being champions by the winning the third and final game of the 2009 PRISAA-UCAAP Inter-Collegiate Basketball Championship on September 24 at their own turf, the LNU gym.
