Council cites VM Fernandez for "a job
well done"
MEMBERS of the Dagupan City Council, in a resolution
authored by Councilor Farah Marie Decano, lauded Vice
Mayor Belen Fernandez following the resounding success
of the recently concluded Dagupan Bangus Festival 2009.
The
Sangguniang Panlungsod
unanimously passed Resolution No. 6368 on May 18
congratulating the Vice Mayor "for a job well done as
executive committee chairman of the 2009 Dagupan Bangus
Festival."

'Miss
Dagupan', 102, passes away
THE oldest living "Miss Dagupan", Luisa Legaspi Maramba,
married to Jose T. Parayno, an engineer from Calasiao,
passed away on May 18 at age 102.
Maramba, who will be interred today, May
31, at the Calasiao Cemetery, was three months short of
reaching her 103rd birthday.
She is survived by her only daughter Purita,
married to Dr. Delfin Biglete of San Pablo City.
