600 JdV scholars graduate
AT least 150 college scholars and 450
technical-vocational scholars of 4th
District Rep. Jose de Venecia Jr.
graduated from their respective courses
in April this year.
The college scholars were enrolled in
four-year courses at the University of
Pangasinan, Lyceum Northwestern
University, University of Luzon, Colegio
de Dagupan, Pangasinan State University
and the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial
State University in San Fernando City,
La Union.

Upland communities get jobs and cash
Government
will
provide poor households in upland areas with jobs and
cash for the care and management of upland resources as
part of the government's measures to help ease the
burden brought by the global financial crisis.
The Upland Development Project spearheaded
by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)
for its agro-forestry and reforestation projects will
benefit 531 pre-identified households and people's
organizations. |
