GOVERNOR Amado Espino Jr. was conferred with Doctor of Humanities honoris causa by the Pangasinan State University (PSU) during the institution's 30th commencement exercises held Monday at The Stadia in Dagupan.
Dr. Victoriano Estira, PSU president, said Espino was accorded the honor for "reinventing government” by initiating a societal reorientation and cultural transformation among Pangasinan's government employees and the leaders of the bureaucracy.

Colegio de Dagupan adds another feather
on its cap.
It recently acquired a deregulated status
starting school year 2009 which starts
in June.
The deregulated status granted by the Commission
on Higher Education (CHED) accords the
institution benefits and advantages as
provided for by law, including freedom
from monitoring and evaluation
activities of the CHED and the privilege
to determine and prescribe its curricular
programs to achieve global competence.
