AFTER GUINNESS WORLD RECORD IN 2008
Sto. Tomas to relive victory with 101 grills
STO. TOMAS—This town will relive its Guinness World Records’ Longest Barbecue achievement last year by holding “101 grills” on February 10 as part of the town’s celebration of its 101^st founding anniversary.
The 10 barangays will set up 10 grills each and the municipal government will have one to complete the 101 target, according to Vice Mayor Timoteo ‘Dick” Villar III.

Bank execs hail Gov. Espino
THE country’s senior bank executives have hailed the dramatic changes in Pangasinan under the leadership of Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr.
Speaking during a general membership meeting of the Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAIPhil) on January 27 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Espino outlined the projects and programs that his administration has been undertaking since he took office in mid-2007.
